Poland Imposes Partial Lockdown

People walk past a shopping window display with mannequins in Warsaw, Poland on November 6, 2020. A partial lockdown will be imposed for two weeks starting on Saturday across the entire country. Daily cases of coronavirus infections have kept rising in the last two weeks despite restaurants and bars having been closed in addition to implementing distance learning for most grades in schools. To prevent a collapse of the overburdened healthcare system the Prime Minister's office announced new restrictions including the closing of shopping malls, hotels for tourists and mandatory distance learning for elementary schools.
