Naples The Solidarity Swab In The Sanita District

The Swab at the Church of San Severo fuori le mura in the Sanita District, in the metropolitan city of Naples, Italy, opened for the Solidarity Swab initiative on November 17, 2020. The Solidarity Swab, at a cost of 18 Euros, was created to ensure that even the weaker groups can undergo anti-covid screening, in one of the districts most affected by the economic crisis linked to the pandemic, an initiative promoted by the association Fondazione Comunita di San Gennaro Onlus and SaDiSa , together with the Mele pharmacy and the Third Municipality of Naples. With Solidarity Swab there is a parallel initiative to allow anyone to undergo the screening, with a small donation, through a fundraising campaign, it is possible to help pay the swab to those who cannot afford it, so called Swab ''Sospeso'' (Suspended). There are already more than 500 bookings for the Swab, and on the first day more than 50 Swabs were made. (Photo by Manuel Dorati/NurPhoto)
