March For Freedom In Paris

Employees of Paris Match, Le Monde, l'Express and other editorial offices demonstrated for press freedom on Saturday, November 28, 2020, as tens of thousands of people took part in the great March of Liberties in Paris to protest against the Global Security Bill, which aims to ban the distribution of images of police officers in France as well as the widespread use of surveillance methods such as drones and facial recognition. While the demonstration was peaceful and full of signs and opposition slogans, at the end of the demonstration many clashes broke out between Black Blocks and Police officers on the Place de la Bastille.
