Educationnal Assistants On Strike
Placards left on the metal gates of the Board of Education. The one on the left reads 'Helllish School life ' and the one on the right reads 'We ren't anymore yours pawns'. Educationnal assistants (AED in French) gathered in front of the Board of Education of the Occitanie region because they have a lot more work to do with the protective measures to be applied with the Covid-19 and because they hadn't have any bonus for their work during the pandemic unlike teachers and principals. They complain they can't do more than 6 years as educationnal assistants as the Ministry of Education don't authorize them to stay more in this job. After 6 years, they are fired.
