Parisian Demonstration Against The Global Security Law Turns Into A Riot

Numerous black blocks and Yellow Vests with placards against the government and the police lead the procession on 5 December 2020, while the third day of mobilisation against the so-called "Global Security" bill was taking place in France. In Paris several thousand demonstrators gathered at Porte de Lilas to protest against article 24 banning the distribution of police images on social networks and article 23 on the use of drones by the police and facial recognition. Quickly Black Bloc took the lead of the demonstration and confronted the police making the demonstration never arrived at Place de la République where clashes also took place in the early evening.
