Toulouse: Protest Against Precarity And Poverty

Called by several trade unions, people joined a protest against precarity, poverty and the change of rules for unemployment benefits by Pole Emploi (French governmental agency which registers unemployed people, helps them find jobs and provides them with financial benefits). As the economic crisis bites due to the covid-19 lockdowns, the number of poor people explodes in France. They're worried about the numerous jobs cut annouced in the aftermath of the first and second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic. They also want to warn the French government about the money given to firms without any compensation asked. People gathered also across France. Toulouse. France. December 5th 2020.
