National Day Of Protest For The Reopening Of Culture Places

Protesters sing against the closing down of cultural places in front of the Grand-Rond theater. Culture workers (actors, live artists, painters, musicians, technicians, etc.), theaters directors and culture unions (CGT, Synavi, Snam..) organized a nation wide day of actions and demonstrations to protest against the closing down of all theaters, cinemas, concert halls, etc. by the Franch government due to the Covid-19 pandemic. They protest as they are wondering why malls, shops, etc are open and not them. Culture workers are considered as non essentials by the French government even if France is called a 'culture country'. They won't reopen until 2021 January 7th at best. Some personnalities such as Serge Pey, actor and poet or Galin Stoev, director of the National Theater of Toulouse took part to this particuliar day.
