Scottish Borders Experiencing Increasing Levels Of Infection As Christmas Approaches
A general view of the Borders General Hospital on December 18, 2020 in Melrose, Scotland. As all routine operations at the Hospital have been cancelled until the end of the year, this comes after an estimate of 22 people have been linked to a Covid outbreak in Ward 7. The region still continues to be under level one restrictions, but NHS Borders have warned that infection rates in the region are "no longer consistent" with level one restrictions.
