Disaster Survivors Without Permanent Occupancy In Central Sulawesi
Disaster survivors fall asleep in temporary shelters built from the ruins of their houses due to the earthquake and tsunami in Tompe Village, Donggala Regency, Central Sulawesi Province, Indonesia on December 20, 2020. More than 300 families in that place remain in temporary shelters that often inundated by water due to tidal flooding because up to two years after the disaster, they did not have permanent housing. The earthquake disaster on 28 September 2018 triggered a tsunami and liquefaction which claimed the lives of more than 5,000 people. (Photo by Basri Marzuki/NurPhoto)
