Toulouse: Performance In Front Of A Theater For The Reopening Of Cultural Places
Performers disguised as ghosts stand near a banner on the Sorano theater reading 'Maybe? Maybe not ?' Culture workers (actors, live artists, painters, musicians, technicians, etc.) organized a performance in front of the Sorano theater in toulouse to protest against the closing down of all theaters, cinemas, concert halls, etc. by the French government due to the Covid-19 pandemic. They protest as they are wondering why malls, shops, etc. are open and not them. Culture workers are considered as non essentials by the French government even if France is called a 'culture country'. They won't reopen until 2021 January 7th at best. Toulouse. France. December 19th 2020. (Photo by Alain Pitton/NurPhoto)
