Home For Swallows In Warsaw

A newly built "home for swallows" is seen in a park in Warsaw, Poland on December 30, 2020. A second tower with nests for swallows has been built in the Praga neighborhood after a first one has been set up in the Bielany district. In consultation with ornithologists the "home for swallows" was built to provide a safe alternative for the numerous nests found around apartment buildings in the area. A small solar panel on the home for swallows provides power for a device that emits sounds that attract swallows. The tower is 42 meters high and contains 40 nests. (Photo by Jaap Arriens/NurPhoto)
