Winter Swimming Is Gaining Popularity In Poland
A winter swimmer wears a face mask while dipping in cold waters of Zakrzowek lake, a former limestone quarry located close to the city center in Krakow, Poland on 10th January, 2021. Restrictions in Poland introduced due to the coronavirus pandemic have resulted in the ongoing closure of public swimming pools, gyms and other sports centers. Fans of physical activities who want to strengthen their body and immune system are more and more willing to take a winter bath in natural cold water reservoirs. Winter swimming has become extremely popular among Polish people of all ages. (Photo by Beata Zawrzel/NurPhoto)
