Covid 19 Mountain Crisis, Shops And Ski Slopes Closed
In the Picture the town of Pecol nestled in the frame of the Belluno Dolomites with shops, hotels, restaurants and commercial activities closed due to the Covid19 emergency. The ski resorts should have reopened their slopes and their huts as early as 7 January. However, the date was postponed to January 18 due to the Covid19 epidemic which continues to keep Italy and its economy under control. Now even this date seems to be further away, further putting into difficulty the towns and cities of the ski area of the Dolomites, Unesco heritage, which are forced to guard their mountains, the main source of income for much of the mountain population, which is further closed.
