Tamales are part of the traditional Mexican food, made of corn dough and butter and are filled with chicken and green tomato sauce, and are wrapped in a dried corn leaf also known as 'Totomoxtle', According to Mexican tradition, people who won the child god in the Three Wise Men cake have to invite their family and friends to eat tamales on February 2, candlemas day.
