Cahors: White March Nearly Two Months After The Killing Of Morgan By A Hunter

A protester holds a placard reading 'Regulation = lie'. Nearly two months after the killing of a young man (on December 2nd 2020), Morgan (25yo) by a hunter as Morgan was cutting wood in his garden, a collective of 6 women friends of Morgan organized a white march for a better safety during hunting. These six young women created a Facebook page called 'Un jour un chasseur' ('One day, one hunter') to make a list of all accidents provoked by hunters in France. They have alreaduy received more than 2.500 testimonies. In 20 years, 421 people have been killed by mistake by hunters. Morgan has been killed during the lockdown as only hunters obtained the right to practice their hobby outside. The women demand better regulations of hunting, and a better safety for hikers, cyclists, etc. Cahors. France. January 23th 2021. (Photo by Alain Pitton/NurPhoto)
