State Of Alert Due To A Call For Riots Against The Curfew In Nijmegen, Netherlands
Since Sunday, various social media platforms have been calling for rioters to 'demolish' the city of Nijmegen. As a precaution, and partly on the advice of the police, terraces are brought in and roller shutters go down. At fashion store Hilckmann on Plein 44, the windows are boarded up with wooden planks. As the national coronavirus curfew came into effect on Saturday, protests and violent riots broke out across the Netherlands. Nijmegen, on January 25th, 2021 (Photo by Romy Arroyo Fernandez/NurPhoto)
