Snowstorm Darcy In The Netherlands

Snow around De Blob, a famous landmark building in Eindhoven with people around. Blizzard from the snowstorm Darcy in the Netherlands, the first heavy snowfall with intense strong winds after 2010 disrupting transport all over the country. Dutch people woke up on Sunday with a layer of snow covering everything. Many accidents occurred on the roads due to the storm and the icy condition, while there was problem with trains as well. In the city of Eindhoven in North Brabant, rail and buses services ceased operation, the airport followed and air traffic was diverted. People went outside in the city center of Eindhoven to enjoy and have fun with the white scenery and some are seen using their sleigh. According to the forecast the cold winter weather with subzero freezing conditions will continue the following days, expecting temperatures below -10 C.
