Triqui Community In Mexico, Withdraws Sit-in In Downtown Mexico City

Merchants and alleged neighbors of the Historic Center of Mexico City, demonstrated on Eje Central and Juarez Avenue during the COVID-19 health emergency and the orange epidemiological traffic light, to demand the eviction of members of the Indigenous Artisan Movement and the Triqui community who maintain a sit-in in the area and who request the intervention of federal authorities and the National Guard after being victims of forced displacement in the state of Oaxaca in the area of Tierra Blanca, Copala, Oaxaca.
