German Police - FRONTEX Vehicle In Greece

Frontex the European Border and Coast Guard Agency is controlling the external European Schengen borders assisting national law enforcement to the member state countries. Operation Poseidon - Poseidon Rapid Intervention oversees the southeastern land border of the EU with Turkey on Evros river (Maritsa or Meriç). The operation was reinforced in March 2020, during the border crisis when Turkey allowed thousands refugees and migrants to reach the Greek Borderline.
