178th Representation Of The Passion Of Christ In Iztapalapa
Fernanda Pérez and Rodrigo Neri, originally from Iztapalapa, Mexico City, will play the Virgin Mary and Jesus of Nazareth respectively, on the occasion of the 178th representation of the Passion of Christ that will take place behind closed doors, in order to avoid crowds and prevent contagions of COVID-19 during the sanitary emergency and orange epidemiological traffic light in the capital. The Passion of Christ in Iztapalapa, established in 1843, is a staging of the main passages of the life and death of Christ by a cast of about 4 thousand people, including actors, extras and musicians, during five days of Holy Week.
