'Spring Is Inexorable' Operation For The Reopening Of All Culture Places

People listen to theater head in front of the Sorano theater where a banner reads 'Spring is inexorable'. This week-end, culture places in Toulouse such as the Sorano Theater, the Cave'Po and others decided to reopen temporarily to symbolize their will to obtain their reopening. This action is called by the Syndeac union amid others. The whole operation is dubbed 'Le printemps est inexorable' ie 'Spring is inexorable'. Culture workers (actors, live artists, musicians, technicians, etc.), precarious workers and activists participated at several shows in open air. They hope to show that they could reopen even with the pandemic as they are ready to respect social distancing and other measures. All culture places as theaters, cinemas, concert halls, etc. are closed since one year by the French government due to the Covid-19 pandemic. This week-end of protest by reopening the culture places take place everywhere in France. They also ask for the extension of their unemployment benefits and the withdrawal of the unemployment benefits reform. Toulouse. France. March 20th 2021. (Photo by Alain Pitton/NurPhoto)
