According to chairman of the National Committee of COVID-19 Handling and Economic Recovery Airlangga Hartarto, Indonesia has decided to extend the policy on the micro-scale public activity restrictions from March 23 to April 5, 2021. Hartarto said the government made the decision as the implementation of the micro-scale public activity restrictions was proven effective to curb the increasing number of active cases of COVID-19.
