Virus Outbreak France
A student with her free meal (french fries, rice, Caesar salad, bobun). For one week, chefs from several restaurants in Toulouse decided to offer free and balanced free meals to students hurt by precarity and poverty. As the Covid-19 pandemic takes its toll, thousands of students have lost precarous jobs and are in need for food. So the 'Connexion Live' bar decided with Rodolphe Lafarge (creator of the Takeaway challenge) in association with several chefs in Toulouse and nearby to offer one balanced meal per day to students. For now, at least 1,200 students enlisted to have these meals. All food is fresh and prepared the same day. Chefs and people from restaurants volunteered for this operation. Every day, other chefs prepare the meals. Toulouse. France, on March 23th 2021. (Photo by Alain Pitton/NurPhoto)
