Protestors Blcoked The Headquarters Of The European Commission In Barcelona

Fifty people have blocked the headquarters of the European Commission and the European Parliament in Barcelona to denounce the role of the European institutions against Spanish repression coinciding with the European Council summit. They denounce the situation of political prisoners, exiles and "the more than 3,000 people persecuted by the Spanish judicial system for political reasons" such as the rapper Pablo Hasél, convicted of singing insults to the Spanish crown. In addition, they say that with the approval of the supplication of Carles Puigdemont, Clara Ponsatí and Toni Comín abandoned "the values of freedom, peace and defense of fundamental rights that until now represented the EU".
