Ontario Issues Stay-at-home Order To Slow COVID-19 Spread

Ontario has been placed under another stay-at-home order amid surging COVID-19 case. The Order will also order the closure of all non-essential retail outlets for in-person shopping and will be accompanied by Ontario's third state of emergency declaration since the beginning of the pandemic. It is expected to remain in effect for at least four weeks. Ontario’s daily COVID-19 case growth more than tripled through the month of March, leading to record-high hospital ICU occupancy of more than 500 by early April.
