Health And Culture Workers Against Lack Of Beds In ICUs
A man stands near a placard reading 'Bachelot: afte the destruction of public health, she breaks culture'. Roselyne Bachelot was Health minister before becoming Culture minister. Culture workers (actors, live artists, musicians, technicians, etc.) and health workers oganized a die-in in front of the Hotel-Dieu hospital in Toulouse to demand for the extension of their unemployment benefits and the withdrawal of the unemployment benifits reforms and to demand more beds in public hospitals as ICUs are overwhelmed by Covid-19 patients. Public hospitals in France are supposed to save more than €600millions in 2021 despite the Covid-19 pandemic. Toulouse. France. April 9th 2021. (Photo by Alain Pitton/NurPhoto)
