Ireland Starts Easing Level 5 COVID-19 Restrictions

John Bracken, owner of the Eldon's Hotel in Roundstone, cleans hotel facade during the COVID-19 lockdown. From today, Ireland is easing certain restrictions, including the reopening of outdoor sports facilities, sports fields, golf courses and tennis courts. Non-contact sporting activities like golf and tennis can resume. Some visitor attractions will also reopen, including zoos, open animal farms, and heritage sites, but not amusement parks. Any hospitality services in these areas will only be available for take-away services and capacity limits will apply. The Government is working on plans to reopen hotels from early June.
