Aftermath Of Tragic Metro Overpass Collapse In Mexico City

A mourning ribbon hangs on the façade of the Benito Júarez City Hall, located outside the Parque de los Venados subway station, Line 12, Mexico City. Line 12 of the Metro Collective Transportation System in Mexico City stopped providing service to millions of users daily for an indefinite period of time after a column collapsed between Tezonco and Olivos stations on Monday night, May 3, where 25 people died and more than 70 were injured. As a result, they are using the temporary alternative bus transportation service outside each station of the affected subway line. (Photo by Gerardo Vieyra/NurPhoto)
