Colombians In Netherlands Protest Against Repression By The Uribe Government

Demonstrators carry banners in support of the Colombian people and against the government during the demonstration on May 7, 2021 in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Tens of thousands of Colombians have been joined protest marches in the country's major cities against a proposed tax reform. More than 800 people are reported to have been injured in clashes between the police and demonstrators. In The Netherlands, the Colombian community gathered at the Dam Square, in the center of Amsterdam to show their support with the people in Colombia, and to make it possible for people to know what is happening in their country. From the Dam, they walked to protest in front of the Colombian embassy. (Photo by Romy Arroyo Fernandez/NurPhoto)
