Volunteers prepare distributes food to needy people during COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, on April 17, 2021 in Barcelona, Spain. The parish of Santa Anna in Barcelona is a well-known social center in the city with an extensive tour of social assistance to the most disadvantaged. Space where the homeless of the Catalan capital can eat quiet and in winter a very important source of heat. With the arrival of Ramadan, the parish daily makes a traditional Muslim meal on these dates, Iftar. Iftar is the breakup of the fast performed during the day. The church offers a good plate of hot food to anyone who wants it, whether Muslim, Christian, or Atheist. A hundred people come daily to eat in the parish, even business-sharing workers like Just Eat or Glovo require this social assistance. (Photo by Pau de la Calle/NurPhoto)
