Protest In Support Of Palestine As War Rages On Between Israel And Palestine
People react and make the V sign. Hundreds of people gathered in support of Gaza and the Occupied Territories as a new war seems to have begun between Israel and Palestinians (Hamas in Gaza). Several days of violence at the Al-Aqsa mosquee in East Jerusalem provoked a response from Hamas in Gaza. Violence is also due to a pending judgment of the Israeli Supreme Court about the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in East Jerusalem as some relgious Israelis want to evict Palestinians from there. At the time of writing, 139 palestinians were killed (29 children) and 7 Israelis (2 children). The International Crime Court said yesterday that it's possible that acts from both sides could be considered as war crimes or even crimes against humanity.
