Himalayan mountains surround glacial lake along the Panzila pass (Panjila pass) in the Suru Valley in Zanskar, Ladakh, Jammu and Kashmir, India. The Panzilla Pass is the highest point between Kargil and Padam. Panzilla pass separates the Suru Valley from the Zanskar Valley and is known as the Gateway to Zanskar.
