Pro-Palestinian Protests In Tunis
Protesters clash with plainclothes officers and security forces after removing the barbed wire during a demonstration held in front of the Tunisia's parliament's building in the city of Bardo Tunis, Tunisia, on May 18, 2021, to call for the adoption of a law by the parliament, that criminalizes all forms of normalization of relations with Israel. Demonstrators also protested against the Israeli air strikes on Gaza Strip as well as the Israeli violations in the occupied territories in Palestine, especially in the Palestinian neighbourhood Sheikh Jarrah in East Jerusalem. The protest comes after more than a week of violence in Gaza and Israel. (Photo by Chedly Ben Ibrahim/NurPhoto)
