Moratorium on use of primates for scientific research

RIJSWIJK on July 6, 2015- At the largest Biomedical Primate Research Center in Europe (BPRC) several activists protested against the use of apes for research on human diseases. Some 1300 apes are being used at the center for scientific research on malaria and HIV amonst other afflictions.
