Ayyanar Temple In Sri Lanka

Small idol of Ayyanar at the Ayyanar Kovil (Aiyanar temple) located on Analaitivu Island in the Jaffna region of Sri Lanka. This temple is dedicated to Ayyanar (a Hindu deity particularly worshipped in South India and Sri Lanka among Malayalis and Tamils) and is famous for the intricately carved wooden chariot (ther) which has hundreds of detailed wooden carvings depicting the mythology of the temple.
