The Sulawesi Black Monkey
A wild Sulawesi black macaque (Macaca Tonkeana) looks for food scraps from a plastic bag given by a motorist passing through the Coffee Garden Mountains Area, Parigi Moutong Regency, Central Sulawesi Province, Indonesia, Friday (18/6/2021). The behavior of these protected and wild animals is now changing and they are increasingly dependent on humans due to frequent feeding by residents who pass through the area. The provision of food continues even though it has been prohibited by the local Natural Resources Conservation Agency (BKSDA) officer. (Photo by Mohamad Hamzah/NurPhoto)
