Festival Of Wreaths Celebrated In Warsaw
A dancer is seen performing during the Saint Johns summer festival on 26 June, 2021 in Warsaw, Poland. The pagan summer solstice festival often called the "Wreaths on the Vistula" or Saint John's festival is traditionally celebrated at the start of summem in Slavic countries. In Poland women wear wreaths with flowers which they later throw into the river to see if they will marry. The festival has been brought back to life in 1992 after having been banned for more than a decade and now often includes dacne festivals and other spectacles. (Photo by STR/NurPhoto)
