Most Famous Polish Bell Has 500 Years
Tourist are visiting the Sigismund Bell (Zygmunt) during an open day marking the 500th anniversary of the hanging of the bell on the Wawel Cathedral tower. Krakow, Poland on June 29, 2021. The Sigismund Bell, made by Hans (Johannes) Beham, was cast in Krakow in 1520. It is the largest historic bell in Poland that rings nowadays only on the most important religious and national holidays and celebrations.
