Police Repression In Chile
Fabiola Campillai, victim of police repression during the 2019 social uprising in Chile. Three of his five senses were taken away from her (Sight, smell and taste), after receiving a tear gas bomb in his face, on 26 November 2019, while on his way to work in a factory. The bomb was shooted by a police from carabineros de Chile. He was identified and brought to justice, which placed him under total house arrest for the duration of the investigation and her not expulsed from the police institution. After the extension of the investigation period, Fabiola Campillai accuses the abandonment of the state and the slowness of the judicial process. After meeting with the captain general of the carabineros de Chile (police), later stated that he never apologized to her. He now met with the chief justice, who pledged to speed up the case.
