Daily Life In Kashmir, India

The famous floating stone Shiva-lingam in the scared spring at the Nagbal temple complex in Anantnag, Kashmir, India, on June 27, 2010. The entire complex is known popularly as Nagbal and is famous Hindu religious center in Anantnag District. The holy spring which originates from here and the formation of which is attributed to Vishno or Narayana is said to be a Vedic 'tirath'. The spring rises beautifully from the foot of a small hill-lock and is dedicated to the worship of Ananta or Vishno. (Photo by Creative Touch Imaging Ltd./NurPhoto)
