Ulster Protestants Prepare To Celebrate The Eleventh Night
Bonfire builders climb the bonfire in Craigy Hill, Larne, ahead of the July 11th celebration organized by members of the Loyalists Orders. The bonfire consists of 17,000 pallets (286 pallets high equivalent of 45 metres) collected by the Loyalists to mark the opening of the annual Orange Parade on July 12. The parade celebrates the victory of the Protestant King William of Orange over the Catholic King James II at the Battle of Boyne in 1690.
