Avro Arrow In Canada

This is a replica of the RL 201 Arrow Aircraft at a memorial for Janusz Zurakowski in Barry's Bay, Ontario, Canada, September 26, 2010. The Avro Arrow Canada CF 105 marked as RL 201 Arrow was a delta-winged interceptor aircraft was designed and built by Avro Aircraft Limited in Ontario, Canada. The CF 105 demonstrated excellent handling throughout the flight, in large part due to the natural qualities of the delta-wing, but responsibility can also be attributed to the Arrow's stability augmentation system. The RL 201 first flew on March 25,1958 with Chief Development Test Pilot S/L Janusz Zurakowski at the controls. (Photo by Creative Touch Imaging Ltd./NurPhoto)
