Firefighting Helicopter In Action

A Sikorsky S-64E Skycrane, registered N173AC and operated by Erickson Inc. - Erickson Air Crane, firefighting helicopter drops water over the fire on the hills with bushes and illegally dump garbage place near the industrial area of Thessaloniki and the residential area near settlement of Diavata and the village of Neochorodouda in Oreokastro and Delta Municipality assisting the ground force to extinguish the bushfire. Greece is having many fires, wild fires, forest firest etc as the country is facing a continuous heatwave and arid season with a month almost with no rain and high temperatures, creating a perfect for fire and natural disaster dry environment.
