COVID-19 In Central Sulawesi

A medical worker walks into the treatment building at the Anutapura General Hospital in Palu, Central Sulawesi, Indonesia on July 17, 2021. The hospital managed by the local government was forced to temporarily close some of its health services to minimize the spread of the corona virus after several health workers were infected. The number of COVID-19 sufferers in Central Sulawesi has increased sharply by more than 200 percent since early July. The local government is using existing buildings to accommodate the spike in cases and meanwhile accelerating the implementation of vaccinations to reduce the rate of virus transmission.
