Greece is trying to boost its tourism and give privileges to vaccinated against the Covid-19 Coronavirus pandemic to international tourists and locals, as the country is heavily dependent on the tourism industry. The world aviation passenger traffic numbers declined due to the travel restrictions, safety measures such as lockdowns, quarantine, etc during the era of the Covid-19 Coronavirus pandemic that hit hard the aviation and travel industry. Greece spotted the Delta mutation in June and nowadays the Covid variant is spotted in more than 50% of the cases, the country imposed new measures and local lockdowns.
