Taiwan Announced Plan To Open Representative Office In Lithuania

Taipei 101, a landmark in the capital of Taiwan, as the island has announced its plan to open a “Taiwanese representative office” in Lithuania, in Taipei, Taiwan, 20 July 2021. Following the donation of vaccines from Lithuania, the island, which China claims to be its sovereignty, will expand its relations with the Baltic state and other Central European countries, according to Taiwan foreign minister Joseph Wu, amid rising political and military threats from Beijing.
