Plastic Waste In Indonesia

Indonesia is the second largest producer of plastic waste in the world after China. The National Plastic Action Partnership (NPAP) noted that there are around 4.8 million tons of plastic waste per year in Indonesia that are not managed properly, such as being burned in open spaces (48 percent), not properly managed in official landfills (13 percent). and the rest pollutes waterways and the sea (9 percent).
