The stadium has the capacity to seat 7,838 people and is the home of the Dominican professional team, the Toros del Este. The stadium was inaugurated in 1979 by President Antonio Guzmán Fernández and is owned by the Central Romana Corporation.A large number of young boys, aged between 8 and 16 years old, train every day to improve their baseball skills.
