Holy unity blood stone at Kabi Longstok, Sikkim, India, on November 06, 2012. Kabi Longstok is the site of the swearing of the oath of blood brotherhood between the Lepcha chief Thekong Tek accompanied by his consort Nyokung Ngal and Khye (Ghed) Bumsa from Kham Minyak in the 13th century AD at Kabi Longtsok in North Sikkim. A treaty of blood brotherhood was sworn-in in a traditional manner between Thekong Tek and Khye (Ghed) Bumsa at Drak Tsendar with the erection of a symbolic stone smeared with blood. This erection of the stone pillar (Long Tsok in Lepcha) smeared with blood led to the appellation of the place as Kabi Longstok.
