Memorial Space Opens For Sewol-ho Ferry Disaster

Members of the Sewol victims' council pack other art works, including portraits of victims which have been exhibited in the memory space of Sewol in Gwanghwamun Square on July 27, 2021 in Seoul, South Korea. The Sewol Victims' Council agreed with the Seoul Metropolitan Government to temporarily display various exhibits including portraits of the victims at the main gate of the Seoul Metropolitan Assembly Hall. The new memorial space is still under discussion. The Sewol ferry disaster off South Korea's southwest coast claimed 304 lives, mostly high school students on an educational travel.
